Our Client Advisory Process

Using advanced technology and skills, Shorewood Financial Services will guide you through the following steps to help you create an investment plan that balances your needs for income, growth and safety. In our four-step process, we will:

1. Understand and analyze

We meet with you to get a better understanding of your financial situation, as well as your goals, aspirations and resources. Once we understand your values and priorities – what drives your financial decisions – we begin to craft your investment plan.

2. Develop your strategy

Our next step is the creation of an asset allocation proposal that reflects your investment objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance and income needs. Through our innovative Envision® planning process, we help you plan around your life goals – not only around a target dollar figure as many advisors do. The plan includes appropriate investment vehicles and takes into consideration key factors such as tax planning strategies, estate planning strategies, educational needs and retirement.

3. Implement recommendations

When you are comfortable with our recommendations, we implement your plan. Together, we identify an appropriate money management provider or help you select from a wide range of securities investments. After receiving your approval, we put your plan into action.

4. Meet to review your progress

Envision® reporting allows you to track the progress you’ve made toward your goals, change your asset allocation when necessary and readjust your plan to accommodate changes to your life goals.

You’ll stay on top of your investment strategy through statements, quarterly portfolio valuations and client reviews. As your financial guides, we meet to review your investment plan. As key life events occur and you change direction, we offer objective advice on revising your portfolio to help ensure your assets remain appropriate for your current situation.

Our ideal client not only has sufficient wealth to invest, they also believe in a strong personal relationship with a financial professional who can bring perspective to important life decisions. Our best clients recognize our value and want to introduce us to their own networks, so that their family and friends may also benefit from our services.
